Since 1968 I have written somewhere in the region of 370 songs, of which about 130 have been released under my own name
on various CDs and LPs. That leaves a lot of material that has never been used. I made my last record in 1994,
but old habits die hard and I still like to write the odd ditty now and again - and some of them are odd!
This CD contains a selection of some of those songs which never made it onto any of my records* but which I still enjoy listening to.
As they have all been recorded at home (on what are becoming antique machines) , the sound quality is not as I would have liked
but I hope you find the songs themselves as enjoyable as I do. *Actually, this is a lie!
I have included (track 16) my original version of 'Part of your furniture' because I think it is streets better
than the version on my last album, 'You say rock'.
